2 Cor. 8:2for in a severe test of affliction, their abundance of joy and their extreme poverty have overflowed in a wealth of generosity on their part. 3For they gave according to their means, as I can testify, and beyond their means, of their own accord, 4begging us earnestly for the favor of taking part in the relief of the saints.
Today was an amazing day in the life of the trip.
We have a family that responded to the request for a donkey. This is a family that the dad works 2 jobs and is trying to make ends meet. They have been using some extra money for gas and food and when the donkey request came over the email they looked at their finances and decided they could do 3.
They said they had been trying to really look at the difference between needs and wants and their last paycheck was larger than they had thought it would be, so they wanted to use this extra money to help those who are in far worse shape than they are.
God is really going to make this fun. I'll keep you posted.
