I am a little discouraged right now because of an email I just received from China. I know God is big, He has carried us to an amazing place and He is in control. Here is the email and those who have been here before can post their thoughts. I was thinking about ordering airline tickets tonight but I'm not sure what to do at this point.
"The Adoptions Unit is prepared to expedite your case as quickly as possible. We currently have the DS-230, Letter Seeking Confirmation (LSC), and Article 5, but the case has not been uploaded to Sharepoint by the National Visa Center. I contacted the NVC today on your behalf with an urgent request to upload the case today (Friday). Unfortunately because of the time difference, if they upload the case Friday, we will not be able to download it until next week.
Once we are able to download the case, we will issue the signed LSC and Article 5 to your adoption agency's facilitator immediately. At that point we suggest the facilitator fax the documents to the CCAA and send the originals. In emergency cases the CCAA has been willing to accept the faxed documents to more quickly issue the Travel Authorization. Because Monday is a holiday- MLK Day in China, for Americans_, we have one less day to work with. We will check first thing Tuesday and as I said, issue the LSC and Article 5 immediately.
I sincerely hope we don't run out of time!"
Please pray that we would have wisdom to know what to do. I'm over my head as usual.

ReplyDeleteEven though I have never been where you are in this process, I still want to encourge you to keep trusting God.
Isaiah 40:28-31 says,
"28Have you not known? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. 29He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. 30Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; 31but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint."
God knows what your going through. He will carry you both through this. We are praying for the whole thing, your family, vince and more. God loves you so much by sending His son to die and take upon Him our sins and wrath that we would be brought into His family. If He was able to take care of our worst problem, nothing else is impossible for Him. He knows best, and promises you both all will be for your good. We love you guys. Were praying and hoping to see you and vince soon.
