Please go to this website and give me your thoughts on doing fund-raising for families who are in the adoption process.
Please post your comments in this blog.
To answer some questions posted. This event is for everyone who is wanting to come and have fun and help to fund getting some kids into some families. Exciting stuff.

YEAH! We LOVE adoption fundraisers! Its a good chance for people to give to something that REALLY matters! By donating you are changing someones life in a VERY real way! Just put yourself in the kids shoes for 2 seconds and you will be donating something! Plus giving to orphans & widows is a COMMAND for the Lord! I am SO excited to help RADICALLY change kids lives! May we do it for the sake of His Kingdom!
ReplyDeleteplus WE LOVE JOHN! and if ANYONE could get the chance to be blessed by one like we are by him, I AM ALL THERE! It seems like John has been in our family FOREVER! I couldn't image life without him! What a blessing he is! WE LOVE YOU JOHN!
ReplyDeleteI think it is a great idea but I also think that their website needs a lot more information! Especially for those of us who are far away :)
ReplyDeleteKeri - we're totally not even close to being done putting stuff up there. (That was such a girl sentence...totally, not even.) It should be done in the next week. There is a ton to put up and my web guy is a busy pastor. :) There's a (currently hidden) facebook page too and it will be ready in the next week as well.
ReplyDeleteThere are girls going at each other on my blog. That is funny. There is also a big thermometer on the new site, but the mercury is not moving yet. We need to change that.
ReplyDeleteHey, wait! It moved $10!!! That's something.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea and blog!
ReplyDeleteWe are so happy that John has blessed your family!! :)
I'll just say that we are not finished with adopting yet. :)
Blessings-
Cathy
Hey Chuck -
ReplyDeleteCan anyone go to the family event on May 15th at the Farm?
Cathy
Chuck,
ReplyDeleteYou know we'll be there and can't wait to meet John.
I have pages of adoption fundraisers - too much to post - maybe we can talk more.
Tully's coffee cards is one and there are some tea and coffee places strickly in supporting adoptions. I leave in a week for the Adoption Orphan Ministry Confrence in MN, should have loads of info - one group is LifeSong who works along side churches creating this in the church.

Chuck! We were not going at it! lol. When I went and checked it today there is a ton more info than last time I looked! I think the webpage is great and I am excited to see how it works for them!
ReplyDelete"THEM"? This may be used for you guys someday. How fun would that be?
ReplyDeleteWe must all think outside of our little boxes and used the giftedness that God has given each one to grow this to be what He has intended.
Welcoming your ideas- right here.
I do hope that we can use it one day!
